Tips

New to Fierce Grace? Try our Intro offer of 30 consecutive days for £39 - Find a studio.

To see optimal results beginners should attend 3 classes a week: 2 Fierce Grace, Classic or Deep Core classes and 1 S.O.B. (beginners) class. 

You will need:

  • 2 towels - one to practise on and one to shower with. We rent towels.
  • Bottled water – we sell water. 
  • Yoga mat (£1 at some studios)

Tips: 

  • Drink 1.5 litres of water 2 hours before class. 
  • We advise you not to eat much in the 2 hours before class.
  • Sit down whenever you feel like it and take it easy at the start.
  • Tell the teacher before class if you have any injuries. Never work into pain.
  • You may feel a bit dizzy in the first 20 minutes. That's normal. Sit down and breathe through your nose. 
  • Don’t wear bulky clothing.

Fierce Grace classes

Yoga can resolve many injuries and being injured should not prevent you from coming to a class. FG founder Michele cured her knees with yoga, so we have a special interest in helping you. Your first class should be taught by a senior teacher and inform them of your injuries beforehand. Our S.O.B class is perfect for beginners with injuries to learn modification for use in other classes. While there are no hard and fast rules, the videos below may be of some help.
