Lisa has been practising yoga for 11 years and teaching for 4 years. She completed her Bikram Teacher Training in 2011 and her Fierce Grace Teacher Training in 2014. She was drawn to yoga to get fit and lose weight, which she did and has kept it off ever since with her regular yoga practice. She loved the high intensity workout that hot yoga gives and then started to feel the deeper benefits such as raised energy levels and a happier mental state and has been hooked ever since.
She decided to give up her job as a secondary school teacher and become a full time yoga teacher to share this passion with others. She's always loved teaching as she enjoys watching people develop and progress through their practice and seeing how the yoga helps people, in so many ways in their life, from healing injuries, to overcoming depression, reducing stress and sleeping better.
