After back surgery in 1995 Mel was left with scar tissue, fear and stiffness. She started Hot Yoga in 2006 and after a few years of regular practice things started to open up.
However, the greatest shift occurred when she moved to London and found Fierce Grace. Everything within the Fierce Grace system advanced her practice, strength and flexibility - she felt younger and lighter. This led her to the Fierce Grace Teacher Training in 2017.
Alongside teaching, Mel has decades of experience working in the fashion industry and can relate to students that step onto a mat after a pressuring day of work. Mel will get you tuning your focus inwards. Her nurturing style will leave you feeling restored, resilient and grounded, helping you find your true potential on and off the mat.
Your favourite FG class and why: Deep Core, it’s a slower pace which allows me to focus more on student's alignment and bring awareness where they are holding tension in their body.
