Christopher Metzger was raised in the theatre and is a designer by trade, an educator by passion and a bicoastal FG yogi.

Christopher completed his teacher training with Fierce Grace and began teaching in 2021.

In his classes Christopher invites his students to the practice with empathy and grace. His goal in teaching is to bring the student to a place where they are refueled and able to move freely through the world (not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually).

In his own words, Christopher describes the practice of yoga as “learning a bit more about yourself on the mat so that you can learn that much more about yourself off of it. Finding your edge is an invitation to be aware and to do something consciously and deliberately.” This is what he endeavors to share with his students.

Outside FG Christopher works as a costume designer in all aspects of live performance, film, and television. He holds an MFA from NYU and a Level 3 Alexander Techniques Principles certification from the Balance Arts Center in NYC.
