Our senior course faculty is not made up of visiting teachers, it is led by our founder, Michele (who launched Hot Yoga in the UK in 1999) alongside her team of some of the UK’s most highly experienced and knowledgeable teachers who between them have over 110 years yoga teaching experience.

FAQS
We have been fortunate to have attained Yoga Alliance approval for our online courses, an exception Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga Alliance UK have allowed due to the pandemic. The Yoga Alliance certification is likely only to be awarded for online trainings begun before the end of December 2020. So this is a unique opportunity.
This course is an intensive immersion replicating a live teacher training format to bring you the most transformational process possible. Fierce Grace is powerful. We believe a teacher Training delivers it’s maximum transformational capacity when taken as an intensive.
The course will be live sessions, recorded sessions and live zoom workshops, small break out groups, Q and A’s, feedback and tutorials.
Included in the training (but not compulsory) is support after the training through our Internship and Mentorship programme. Michele and her team will support you through 1 live session at our North studio and 2 zoom coaching sessions. These will be scheduled in the 4 months after course completion, but not rescheduled if you can not make them. We believe the months after graduation are crucial in building a teachers confidence, so we have given over our North studio to the support of our new graduates so they can start teaching in a supportive environment. Outcomes
We will be with you all the way, supporting you and ensuring you are gaining the confidence week by week to becoming an inspiring, knowledgeable, confident teacher. By week 4 you will be able to deliver 63 poses and 2 popular general level classes from our renowned yoga method. You will have increased your presence and influence, your voice and delivery skills and have begun learning how intonation, energy projection and pace affect your class.
As a yoga method that is dedicated to expanding yoga’s reach, we will teach you how to modify every pose for every level and body type and the main injuries you will encounter in a general level class. Your knowledge of spirituality, meditation, the history and philosophy of yoga, anatomy and energetic concepts will have grown.
We are dedicated to getting you certified. We will extend an extra “Grace” period week at the end of the course should anyone need to catch up any sessions they have missed. Unlike other some other courses we will not charge for the catch up sessions (if you have an honest reason and haven’t missed too much!)*
Once certified in this Level 1 Training, Fierce Grace offers you unparalleled opportunities to continue your growth, without having to change yoga styles, through our short Graduate trainings also available online. These take you through levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 ensuring you keep growing and expanding your knowledge and skills.

*If you have missed many hours of live material, do not have a good reason for missing sessions or the amount of time we need to spend becomes unmanageable, we will need to make a modest charge of £40 an hour for a tutor to catch you up.
The Course
Classes
These will be a mixture of streamed live classes, Zoom classes with senior workshops on zoom where each pose or sequence is broken down, and FGTV classes with our senior faculty.
Workshops
A mix of recorded materials and live sessions with our senior tutors. Michele Pernetta our founder will take you through each and every pose and discuss modifications and teaching tools. Karen Bellfield and Emma Croft our dedicated training team, are joined by Shirley Williams, as well as Tricia Donegan one of New York’s most respected teachers. With guest appearances from Mark Oram, one of FG’s founding teachers as well as support from Tuuli, Kam and Lisa Missah. See our website for information on our tutors.
Anatomy
Todd Taylor will be running the anatomy course as usual with his extensive knowledge and his ability to bring technical knowledge to life with his decades of yoga expertise and sense of humour.
Philosophy
Pete Cherry is renowned for his passionate and in depth knowledge of Indian Yoga Philosophy and we are delighted he will once again be delivering his acclaimed course online.
