I was originally attracted to hot yoga by the amount of calories you could burn and my alpha type, train hard mentality loved the amount of sweat I produced, but the benefits have gone way beyond anything I could have imagined. As a mum of twins and an accountant, running a business alongside my husband I was stressed to the max. Fierce Grace has given me the time and space I badly needed to slow down and become more mindful about the choices I make and has brought balance to my life. I came to yoga aged 45, so it's never too late, my body feels better now than it did in my 20s.
Choosing to train with FG was the obvious choice, interconnected classes for all moods, Michele's wonderful manifesto and all in London, so I wasn't too far from my family. Originally the goal for me was to teach to show others how wonderful and empowering FG can be, to make others happy. Again that was just the tip of the iceberg, every class I teach, I learn something new about how bodies move and students feel. I'm honoured to share other's yoga journey and hear students leave a class saying they feel great, we all have greatness inside, let it out!
My classes focus on clarity and compassion, teaching with a strong focus on alignment and how the body feels in a posture, I love the details. I will however apologise now for my music choices, I get them wrong, a lot. Requests are welcome.
