Grace shyly walked into her first yoga class in her early 20’s out of pure curiosity. As she recalls, it must have been a beginners Hatha yoga class. Grace left disappointed and reluctantly admitted to herslef that yoga was not for her. It was only a few years later that a friend talked to Grace about hot yoga and how she thought it would really suit her. Shortly after, Grace was practising so regularly that she started working at the studio reception in exchange of free classes. Grace came to the mat for the physical aspect and returned because it was improving her mind. She could not fathom how the yoga was working wonders in her life as she slowly started being more mindful of her thoughts and reactions, more grounded and balanced.
The Fierce Grace method offered Grace the variety to keep her practise focused and fresh. Grace enjoyed the philosophy that yoga is for everyone and that you can have fun with it too. She took a sabbatical from work and trained with Michele and her team in 2015. Though she still has an ordinary 9 to 5 job as a necessity, teaching yoga is her passion. After more than 8 years of practise, Grace can firmly say yoga embodies the best expression of strength and flexibility of both the body and the mind. The journey is a continuous discovery of yourself and she is glad to be sharing her love for yoga and guiding people through their practice.
