Fierce Grace: The New Bikram Yoga

   

"Invinted by Michele Pernetta, who first brought Bikram to London in 1994, this latest yoga ofering also involves getting hot and steamy. "I created the yoga class I always wanted to do," says Michele. "It's taught in a no-nonsense way that connects the student with real spirituality, while getting them super fit and healthy." 

The 80-minute general level class combines the poses of Bikram, Hatha and Ashtanga with core strengthening, interval training and stretches - all done in 35°C heat. you can even do a version at home after a hot bath and lots of water - just remember to stay hydrated.

As with most yoga, it promises long, lean limbs - think Gwyneth. To get into amazing shape, aim to do it every day but even once a week will help flush out toxins."
